This week in history :

Leading information source for information technology, professionals and business managers with technology management and purchasing authority. Spotlight: Dressed in a plaid suit and plaid hat, and sporting a large, floppy bow tie, Pinky Lee was the energetic host of a variety show for children in the 1950s. Kids loved his rapid-fire style of telling jokes, his pratfalls and his silliness. Lee was in the middle of one of his frenetic routines on live TV in 1955 when he collapsed. He only returned to the TV screen in 1957, hosting The Gumby Show for a few months before the show was taken off the air. Pinky Lee would have been 100 years old today.
